A little bit about me…

I completed my studies in Sport Science at the University of Stellenbosch, and further concluded my Honors in Biokinetics, before joining the Biokinetics internship program at SSISA (Sport Science Institute of South Africa) in Newlands, Cape Town. After qualifying as a Biokineticist in 2010, I opened a practice in Constantia, Cape Town, in 2011. The teams focus was orthopedic, cardiac and neurological rehabilitation. Upon arrival in Switzerland, I was faced with many challenges before being able to once again see clients. But I have been driven to build an understanding of Biokinetics here, so that I am able to work with those who are interested and perhaps seek a slightly different approach to rehabilitation.

What I believe…

I believe in the concept of “time heals all.” Working in the field of rehabilitation, one learns that there is no “quick fix” to injury nor strength and conditioning. When time becomes a large aspect of one´s process, then education can be included to the rehabilitation / conditioning process. Education = Empowerment, and as a therapist, we should all be compelled to share the knowledge we have to better the lives of our client´s. It is important to be devoted to a cause and I am committed on giving the time and quality of care that everyone deserves. My goal is always to provide comprehensive therapy services tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or simply seeking to improve your overall well-being, I am here to support you every step of the way.
